Fire burns down two houses in Castle Rock

CLAREMONT, Colo.

(Reuters) – Two homes and a business were destroyed by fire in Castle Rocks, Colorado, on Saturday, authorities said.

The blaze began in the basement of a home and continued through the roof, the Colorado Springs Gazette reported.

The Gazette said the blaze was contained to the basement and roof of the home.

A building was also damaged and a fire engine and a helicopter were sent to the scene, it said.

The fire was contained and the fire was extinguished.

There were no injuries reported.
